Dear students,
The SLIS SLA Student Group invites you to join us for our next Meeting this coming Monday, February 17th at 6:00 pm (PST) via Collaborate. We are discussing the projects we have in development. If you would like to help us continue to develop our Student Group and get involved, please join us for this important meeting. We are enthusiastically seeking creative members to develop or to help us with a variety tasks, for example:
- Create an SLIS SLA Student Group logo, or alternatively, organize a Subcommittee to run a logo-creation contest
- Develop a procedure to reach out to local SLA chapters in collaboration with our Group’s Membership Committee.
- Create a network for different areas of special librarianship (i.e. medical, law, archives).
- Create a Subcommittee and procedure to maintain and update the Group’s membership list in collaboration with our Group’s Membership Committee.
- Create a Facebook Subcommittee and procedure to continue to develop and monitor the Group’s Facebook page in collaboration with our Group’s Social Media Committee.
