The SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter is pleased to announce our first LIS-related Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon.
Anyone is invited to participate and make a difference in the content of this heavily-used (over 400 million unique visitors each month) information resource. With 15,000 new articles added every day and 27 million links redirecting users to additional resources there is a lot of information to edit and enhance…and there’s always new LIS topics and recent developments to add, too!
The Edit-a-Thon will be held virtually and asynchronously. Participants should register with SJSU ASIS&T and can make editsSeptember 29 through October 5.
