The Programming Team is responsible for organizing and running programs. This includes planning 2-3 programs per semester, contacting guest speakers, ensuring events are promoted to membership and the iSchool, and serving as host for programs on Zoom.
The Second Assistant Programming Director’s responsibilities include:
- Attending Programming Team meetings, including event debriefs
- Contributing ideas for presenters
- Assisting with organizing speakers and creating event agendas
- Attending programs and assisting with program execution, including moderating the chat, assisting with tech, and offering hospitality and welcome to presenters and attendees
- Gathering post-program survey data for presentation to the Programming Team
- Attending monthly Executive Committee meetings
- Supporting the work of the Programming Team through collaboration and effective communication
