SLASC Presents: Unearthing Gems of the Past to Inform Today’s Researcher – Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library

Please join the Special Libraries Association Student Chapter (SLASC) on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (PST) for a special presentation from the Yale Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library. Two archivists and a librarian at Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library meet to talk about the inner workings of their time working with one of the largest collections of rare works. Their library’s vision statement discusses engaging historic works to transform our future through new knowledge. This roundtable event allows us to peek into how collections are curated, archived, and made accessible for the scholars of today.
