The Web Team is responsible for managing the SLASC website by performing WordPress updates and working with other teams to develop a web presence for the organization. The Webmaster will be responsible for the SLASC user accounts on the WordPress website, and following all guidelines designated by the SJSU Use of University Servers policy. 

The Assistant Webmaster’s responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Web Team with updating website and blog content
  • Maintaining Events page on SLASC website with upcoming and past events
  • Checking in with other EC Teams to ensure their content is up to date
  • Monitoring and recording website traffic statistics
  • Fixing broken URLs on the website
  • Taking on other projects as assigned, particularly relating to website usability
  • Attending monthly Executive Committee meetings 
  • Attending SLASC programs when possible
