The Archive Team is responsible for updating the SLASC’s ScholarWorks account, managing the Google Drive and all corresponding team folders, archiving the website, and retaining files and records as necessary. The Archive Team is also responsible for maintaining EC members’ access to Google Drive and any other communication platforms.

The Assistant Archivist will receive training in archival standards pertaining to the SLASC Google Drive and ScholarWorks account. The Assistant Archivist’s responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the work of the Archivist
  • Monitoring the group’s shared Google Drive to keep files in an organized structure
  • Organizing the drive under the supervision of the Archivist
  • Maintaining a schedule of saving SLASC webpages using Wayback Machine
  • Checking Google Drive files for naming conventions once a month
  • Archiving website pages in the final week of each month
  • Checking that EC meeting files are archived correctly in drive 1-2 days after meeting
  • Participating in a May team meeting and assisting Archive Team with clearing and organizing Google Drive
  • Uploading a program to ScholarWorks once a semester
  • Attending monthly Executive Committee meetings 
  • Attending SLASC programs when possible
