Letter from the Editor, Fall 2015

164299_475397494701_605689701_5907605_5881793_n   Thank you for reading the Fall 2015 issue of the iSchool Descriptor!

My name is Jessie Spragge, and I’m the 2015-2016 editor of the Descriptor (though I’d love to be involved beyond this year!). I was so happy to be selected to help make the newsletter possible, and I want to work with all of you to make the Descriptor the best it can be. I have a lot of ideas, but it’ll take some trial and error to figure out what works and what doesn’t – I hope you will all be patient with me as I experiment with new ideas. However the one constant thing will be the fact that the  Descriptor needs submissions! I can’t put out a newsletter without the students (and faculty!) of the iSchool submitting articles, opinion pieces, and even short research papers.

I’ll be experimenting with new formats – my ideas include a new website format or maybe a pdf delivery system. However, I’m open to suggestions! Do you have a great idea to make the  Descriptor better? Email me! Email me ideas, content submissions, comments, questions, or just to say hello! I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me at ischooldescriptor@gmail.com
