Getting involved in a student group looks great on a resume!
Our executive committee is responsible for connecting with iSchool students, planning webinars, and working with iSchool faculty members. We meet as an executive committee once a month on Sunday evenings.
We are currently looking for individuals to serve as our Vice Chair, Programming Director, and Webmaster.
- The Vice Chair presides and records executive committee business meetings in the absence of Chair; administers the secure password repository; creates, updates and records all login credentials; with the Chair, performs an annual review of existing security credentials; and serves as Google Student Chapter domain administrator. You do not need to live in the San Jose area.
- The Programming Director plans and moderates chapter events, communicates with potential speakers, and keeps records of attendance for chapter events. You do not need to live in the San Jose area.
- The Webmaster manages the WordPress site, adds content to the site, and updates the pages and events as needed; uploads recordings of events through the Student Chapter YouTube page. Works closely with the Programming Director and Social Media Director. You do not need to live in the San Jose area.
