I am currently serving as the Chair.
What is your focus/pathway during your time at the iSchool?
I am currently taking a mix of classes from the academic librarianship and leadership pathway.
What do you enjoy about being on the ASIS&T Board?
I became involved with ASIS&T my first semester at SJSU l. I did this because I wanted to gain leadership skills. Being the chair of ASIS&T allows me to be in close communication with students, other executive committee members, and the faculty here at the iSchool. I really enjoy the networking opportunities this position has brought me.
What are three fun facts about you?
- I have been known to sleep with my eyes open.
- I started volunteering in a library at the age of seven.
- I love serving in my local community. I’m currently volunteer with an organization that provides adaptive sports to those who are mobility challenged.
