Next Meeting

Wednesday, May 2, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm PST

The San Jose State University Student Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) will be holding its next online meeting on Wednesday, May 2, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm PST.

Membership is open to all SJSU SLIS students. All meetings are held virtually in a recorded Collaborate session.  Our Student Chapter is growing quickly, come check us out!

May’s meeting will feature an  “Academic or Professional Experience Sharing” presentation by Ellie Fullman, SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter Membership Director. Ellie will give an informal talk about her experience setting up an iPad lending program in her Fall 2011 internship at Holy Names University.

Come and join us to learn more about ASIS&T, opportunities for committee work, chapter activities, and programs for the upcoming year.  Membership in ASIS&T promotes professional development, networking, career development goals, and leadership opportunities in the information community.
