SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter’s November Faculty Primetime, on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00 PM, will feature a presentation by SLIS Lecturer Lisa Daulby: An Open Discussion about Electronic Records Management.
Come hear Ms. Daulby discuss why she thinks privacy and information security are essential in an increasingly global and digital environment. As well, she will outline the practical implementation of electronic records and content management systems and solutions. Lisa will also share her thoughts on how innovative trends in social media, mobile technologies, and big data are affecting the records and information management professions.
Lisa Daulby is a faculty member in both the MLIS and MARA programs at SJSU SLIS. She has over 15 years of experience working as both an archivist and records manager with in the global financial service sector. Lisa is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Technology at Capella University. Her current research interests focus on health care consumers’ perceptions and use of electronic personal health records.
