The November/December 2017 issue of the iSchool Descriptor will have the theme: what does Library Science mean to you? Before the submission deadline, November 30, join us for an informal discussion in which we grab a cup of our favorite beverage and talk about how we view and relate to Library Science.
Questions to Consider:Â What sets LIS apart as a distinct discipline? Â What do all LIS tracks have in common? Â Why did you choose to earn a degree in LIS? What should define the field moving forward?
Take a break from your work week with a beverage and a thought-provoking discussion with fellow ALASC members! If you are interested, please fill out the Google Form so we may remind you about the event.
