Excited or confused by the class schedule options…not sure which class/section to take?
Interested in engaging with your colleagues and possibly joining ASIS&T?
One advantage of getting an MLIS at SJSU is the extensive offering of elective classes that allow students to tailor their education to individual interests. Every year, the iSchool offers new classes and seminars on a wide variety of topics in all areas of library and information science. While the benefits are clear, so many options makes deciding on a career pathway and choosing classes each semester somewhat challenging.
The SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter invites you to attend our Pre-Registration Social Hour on November 6th at 6pm (PT). Learn about what’s new on the schedule and discuss specific classes and requirements with other students. We will structure the conversation around the spring 2015 class schedule. Students will interact via chat and open mic and are free to ask questions related to the class schedule and to help answer questions from other students.
We will also be holding our fall 2014 Membership Drive during this time. Join us and you could win a one-year membership to ASIS&T – on us!
This will be a fun social event full of Q&A and discussion.
