On September 12 at 7 pm PST, the executive committee of SJSU’s ASIS&T student chapter will meet virtually using Elluminate to discuss this month’s business. This month we have a lot of news and announcements to share, and we will also be planning upcoming events for the year. We welcome ideas and input from chapter members, so please do not hesitate to jump in the conversation.
Come and join us to learn more about ASIS&T, opportunities for committee work, chapter activities, and programs for the upcoming year. Membership in ASIS&T promotes professional development, networking, career development goals, and leadership opportunities in the information community.
The business meeting will be followed by a brief presentation by Jennifer Gibson about the most recent Pew Internet research report on technology, libraries, and their users, from 8:30-9:00 pm PST.
