Join SJSU ASIS&T on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 5:30 pm (PT) for an informal discussion with Jill Klees about the social media and career site LinkedIn.
We all know that having a complete LinkedIn profile is an important part of our job search strategy but many of us have questions about how to complete the LinkedIn profile and actually use it for the job search. Klees will take questions and provide answers, using ASIS&T student profiles as examples.
Klees, who serves as SLIS Career Center Liaison, has worked in the career coaching field for over 15 years in both academic and corporate environments. She gained extensive experience working in startup, non-profit and technology industries, providing career-related services in the Silicon Valley marketplace. She also has experience developing innovative tools and resources to prepare her clients for the workforce and is highly skilled at helping clients determine their unique talents and strengths. She has a Master’s in Counseling from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
