The Nominating Committee invites nominations from SJSU-ASIS&T student members for a vacancy in the Executive Committee for the year 2011-2012.
Vice Chair
Duties/Responsibilities:
A. Actively assist the Chair.
B. Preside at Executive Committee or Student Chapter meetings in the absence of the Chair.
C. Automatically succeed to the Office of Chair upon the long term unavailability, resignation, removal, or death of the Chair.
D. Perform such duties as the Executive Committee or the Chair may assign, within reason, as expected of a Vice Chair.
Nominations: Candidates may nominate themselves for election and must be SJSU-ASIS&T Student Chapter members. Candidates for office must be clear of intent of enrollment through May 2012.

Important dates: All nominations must be received by August 31, 2011 at 11:59pm PT.
Elections will be held September 2 – 6, 2011.
Voting process: Officers shall be elected by a majority of the ASIS&T Student Chapter members voting online via D2L. ASIS&T Student Chapter members must be enrolled in the ASIS&T Student Chapter’s members-only D2L site in order to vote.
