They say that hindsight is 20/20. Wouldn’t it be great to start every new endeavor or reach a professional milestone with that kind of clarity?
No matter where you are in the program, please join the SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter as we welcome back 3 recent graduates (Seema Sairam, Kate Dillon, Suzanne Rogers Gruber) who will provide their valuable insights for students at all stages of the program, focusing on:
What I wish I had known when…
- I started in the iSchool – challenges, course planning, resources, and support
- I started the ePort – time management, support and resources, tips and tricks
- I started looking for a job – turning classwork into a job offer, where do I belong?
This event will be the culmination of a two-week long program kicking off the fall semester and welcoming students to the iSchool. Seema, Kate, and Suzi will be posting to the ASIS&T Student Chapter blog and Chapter social media will focus on resources for student success.
This event is free and open to all iSchool students.
Individuals requiring real-time captioning or other accommodations should contact Sue Alman/SLIS as soon as possible.
This presentation will be recorded and the recording accessible from the SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter website: https://ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu/asistsc/previous-event-recordings/2015-2/
