Even highly accomplished students who are proficient searchers can find themselves frustrated or disappointed when needing to locate relevant scholarly articles for a research paper. In this session, we invite you to advance your search skills both on Google and on scholarly databases such as Web of Science and ProQuest. The session will feature search tips when using Google for academic research and strategic methods to get the most out of resources available through most university library subscription databases. Whether it’s applying field restrictions or cited reference connections to locate the best material on your topic, you’ll discover new approaches and tools for more strategic searching.
