Ready to try your hand at transcribing historic artifacts while also gaining practical first-hand experience working with the Smithsonian Collections? ASIS&T SC and SAASC are excited to invite you to our 2-part Transcribe-A-Thon event!
Part 2 of this event will involve learning more about how the Smithsonian Institution harnesses the power of their digital volunteers & exchange stories about the artifacts we’ve transcribed over the week.
Can’t make the zoom events? No worries! During the week of the 29th, feel free to stop by the SAASC Discord server for chill working sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. With a plethora of opportunities to learn, share, & even create a piece of evidence for your ePortfolio, we hope to see you at the Transcribe-A-Thon!
