Publishing of open access materials (e.g., journals, books, conference proceedings, open educational resources, etc.) is becoming more and more common in North American academic libraries. Attend this webinar to learn the following from a practicing academic librarian:

  • Why libraries are collaborating with their campus partners to publish scholarly works;
  • What tools are used to negotiate and manage publishing projects with journal editors and authors;
  • What platforms are commonly used for publishing and hosting different types of content;
  • What services are provided to journal editors and authors for digital publishing projects, such as metadata and DOI/ISSN/ISBN assignment;
  • How content is preserved digitally.

It’s Open Access (OA) week! Join us for a fun and informative talk on cutting-edge digital OA projects!
