The Library and Information Technology Association (LITA) is offering two Web-based courses in August:
- Building Web Applications with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript: An Introduction to HTML5, presented by Jason Clark of Montana State University Library.
- Getting Started with GIS, presented by Eva Dodsworth, geospatial data services librarian at the University of Waterloo Map Library.
Building Web Applications with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript: An Introduction to HTML5 will consist of four live lectures held from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. CDT on Aug. 6, 8, 10, and 13, with additional self-paced modules in Moodle.
Getting Started with GIS is a three-week course that will run Aug. 13 – Sept. 4 and consist of weekly asynchronous lectures and modules in Moodle.
