Welcome to the 2015-16 school year! My name is Melissa Reynolds and I am honored to serve as your newly elected ALASC President. This year we have an entirely new ALASC Board! Although this presented some challenges, I am confident that we have built a strong executive team. It has been a pleasure getting to know each of the new Board members as we worked hard this summer planning events and activities for the coming year. Stay tuned for exciting changes to Descriptor. Our Newsletter Editor, Jessie Spragge has some great ideas that I hope you will all enjoy. I am excited to see each issue grow and flourish in new ways.
I would like to thank the previous board members for their work last year and especially for their help and cooperation last spring as we transitioned new members into each role.
