The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is seeking participants and presenters for their upcoming webinar series. Check out the details below!

We would like to inform you that the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and its Division IV – Support of the Profession – is hosting a series of webinars for library and information science (LIS) students. These webinars aim to create a place for students to share their projects, research, and ideas about different topics related to libraries. Each month – April through June 2021 – will address a different theme and a new call for proposals will be issued for that month. All webinars are held online and are open to everyone (no registration fees).

Benefits:

  • participating in an international project;
  • building a good professional network with LIS students worldwide;
  • presenting topic to different international LIS professionals;
  • possibility to submit a final paper regarding presented topic for publication in LIS international serial publication or uploading in LIS websites (such as IFLA sections webpages);
  • having a certificate of participation/presenters on webinar series;
  • international promotion of student and their schools;
  • gaining new skills such as: presentation skills, communication skills, professional writing skills etc.
