ALASC Announces World Book Night
ALASC has been chosen as designated book giver for World Book Night (www.worldbooknight.org)
World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which will see tens of thousands of people share books with others in their communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading on April 23.

As part of ALASC’s community service initiative on April 23, ALASC officers across the country will be handing out FREE Books.
What is WBN and why April 23rd?
April 23 is also UNESCO’s World Book Day and was chosen for the anniversary of Cervantes’ death, as well as Shakespeare’s birth and death. For more information about World Book night visit WBN and check out some of the giveaway books. See who’s behind the creation of WBN.
