“Improving Library Website Usability with AI” As Part of the Library 2.0 Mini-Conference Series on AI and Libraries

I had the chance to serve as a volunteer moderator for the Library 2.0 Mini-Conference Series on AI and Libraries on March 21, 2024, in which San Jose State University is a partner. The Zoom session I moderated for was on “Improving Library Website Usability With AI,” where Sharon Clapp, Associate Librarian, Digital Resources, Elihu Burritt Library, Central Connecticut State University shared her thoughts and insights on the subject. Website Usability is one aspect of User Experience (UX).

As an SJSU iSchool student interested in UX, this volunteer experience let me learn about the website usability aspect of UX while also learning great skills about being involved behind the scenes in a virtual academic conference environment.

The YouTube recording of the presentation is now available on the Library 2.0 YouTube channel.
