The User Experience Student Group at the San Jose State University School of Information (UXSG @ SJSU iSchool) was founded to help information professionals as well as MLIS, Informatics, MARA, and ISDA students learn more about user experience and accessibility. All students and alumni are welcome. However, this group was founded specifically for the asynchronous nature of the SJSU iSchool.
Members can choose from a variety of meetups and events, and everyone is welcome on the various social media channels, including Discord, Facebook, and Instagram.
Per Article IV, Section 7 of our 2025-2026 bylaws, “Students are considered members by subscribing to the email list. Members can opt out of group membership at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ option in any email communication.”
