*** Calling all SJSU iSchool students near Denver, CO! Voluntary networking opportunity with other iSchool students! Please RSVP for those interested in attending. ***
Being in a fully online graduate program means that students link up with their classmates and professionals not only in their home country, but also with others around the world. While that immense network of peers to connect with is astounding, it can also leave one feeling a bit like an island unto themselves. Without a brick and mortar building that most students utilize for classes, it can be challenging to make real-world contacts with other SJSU iSchool students.
Let’s change that! Meeting other iSchool students face-to-face would facilitate professional connections and networking at the local level, provide a classmate in close proximity to meet up with for brainstorming, collaborating, discussing classes, or simply for socializing. Putting faces to the names you see in your courses and the voices you hear in your Collaborate sessions can help solidify concrete connections with our online university and our nearby professional peers.
