ALASC is currently seeking a Regional Events Coordinator. But, what is that you may ask?
This pivotal role, coordinates all in-person events. That’s right, if you have that urge to meet up with individuals in your area also in the program, would like to meet your classmates in person, and would like to facilitate people living in other areas getting together as well, then the Regional Events Coordinator position is just what you’ve been looking for. You’d be a great fit for this position, if you’d like to attend a monthly board meeting, and participate in our Events Committee.
Serving on ALA’s Student Chapter at SJSU is a great resume builder as well as providing opportunities for evidence collection for e-portfolios. Also, we’re a fun team to work with!
