ALASC is honoring Black History Month with a special book giveaway of Somebody Give This Heart a Pen by award-winning author and performance poet Sophia Thakur.
Following the book giveaway, we will be hosting a virtual book circle to discuss Thakur’s poetry and create space for us to reflect on and draw meaningful connections with her powerful work.
