Have you wondered what it is like to work in a museum and in a library and archives department within the institution?

SJSU ASIS&T and our co-sponsors SAASC and LACASIS&T are excited to welcome Richard P. Hulser, Chief Librarian at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, to discuss the wonderful world of technology in museum libraries.

Topics during this session will include the opportunities and challenges of working in a natural history museum and the various ways information management and library training are a great base for success.

Speaker Bio

Richard P. Hulser is Chief Librarian at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and has responsibility for the libraries and archives. He has over 30 years of experience in information management including academic, corporate and cultural institution environments. He is a Fellow of SLA.
