Meet the 24/25 Leadership Team: Social Media Coordinator
Ronna Del Rosario
My name is Ronna Del Rosario, and I’m currently based in the East Bay. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, discovering and listening to music, watching anime and British TV shows, reading, attending concerts, and playing on my Switch.
In my current two roles, I work as a Customer Service Associate and UX Student Assistant, respectively. Previously, I worked as an RN mostly in mental health (End the Stigma!). I am in my second year of the Informatics program and look forward to taking the Human-Centered Design Course this semester.
I joined the UXSG @ the iSchool because of my desire to connect with other individuals enthused about learning more about and sharing UX’s significance in the LIS space.
Funnily enough, the first time I became aware of UX was when I began the search for my first nursing job. Fast forward to just two years ago, when I started my coding journey – that’s when I began to understand what UX is and why it’s valuable in any field.
“My desire to connect with other individuals enthused
about learning more about and sharing
UX’s significance in the LIS space.”
As the current Social Media Coordinator, I hope to spread the word about the importance of UX and our group’s events and activities to all iSchool students. I aspire to become a UX Designer for a healthcare organization or an electronic health record (EHR) vendor.
