Are you looking for ways to enhance your iSchool experience? The SJSU Society of American Archivists Student Chapter (SAASC) is now recruiting students for our 2024-2025 Executive Board! Help us achieve our chapter’s mission to energize our membership, foster community, provide networking and career development opportunities for iSchool students interested in archival studies and records management.
No previous experience is required! Just a genuine interest in archives and student leadership. Training and transitional meetings are provided.
Nominations are due by Friday, April 12, 2024. Voting will be open to SAASC members from Monday, April 15 through Monday, April 19, 2024. Results will be announced by April 22, 2024.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTION:
- Must be a currently enrolled student at SJSU iSchool and plan to enroll in the 2024-2025 academic year
- Must be able to commit to at least 1-3 hours per week (depending on the position)
- Must be able to participate in chapter activities (e.g., virtual events, site tours, monthly meetings, etc.)
- Must be a member of our parent organization, the Society of American Archivists (SAA)*
*If not a member when elected, there is a four-week grace period to show proof of membership.

- Maintains documentation on non-standard features of website for future webmasters
