SAASC Presents Archivist Emily Cabaniss, Lead Archivist at the Winthrop Group

Please join SAASC on Wednesday, April 1st at 5:00PM PT. We’ll be speaking with Emily Cabaniss, Lead Archivist for the Winthrop Group. Come learn the ins and outs of working as a business archivist. Emily is the Lead Archivist in Seattle, Washington, since 2022, providing archival services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Winthrop, she worked for King County Archives and Seattle Opera, where she founded the company’s first Archives program. Emily has held leadership roles with Northwest Archivists and the Zine Archive and Publishing Project. Her areas of specialty include family owned business archives, the intersection of archival practice with death and grief, and textiles. Join us to learn about Emily and her work, and bring your questions!
