Call for conference volunteers!
First offered in 2012, Seguimos Creando Enlaces (We Continue Creating Connections) is a free professional library conference that fosters community connections and cultural diversity in public, academic, and special libraries from the U.S., Mexico, and across the globe! Conference sessions are proudly presented in both English & Spanish and include live translation.
We are seeking iSchool student volunteers to support Seguimos Creando Enlaces 2025 on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Copley Library, Univ. of San Diego
iSchool student volunteers- student volunteers who are located in San Diego who would be interested in helping out in person during the conference with miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to- creating content (photos/videos/social media posts), logistical in-person needs (arrangement of spaces, organizing things, guiding attendees, etc random things that come up).
Benefits of volunteering:
Experience in a real library conference setting, which can be added to your CV/resume.
Hands on learning and experience which can be added to your eportfolio as applicable to learning outcomes.
Networking with professionals already in the field.
