The User Experience Student Group at the San Jose State University School of Information (UXSG @ SJSU iSchool) was founded to help information professionals as well as MLIS, Informatics, MARA, and ISDA students learn more about user experience and accessibility. All students and alumni are welcome. However, this group was founded specifically for the asynchronous nature of the SJSU iSchool.
Members can choose from a variety of meetups and events, and everyone is welcome on the various social media channels, including Discord, Facebook, and Instagram.
Per Article IV, Section 7 of our 2023-2024 bylaws, “we propose that students are considered members by subscribing to the email list. Members can opt out of group membership at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ option in any email communication. A yearly email will be sent out to the email list allowing members to leave or update their email address and membership status.” The last email was sent in May of 2024.

Alumni may use an alternate email if necessary. To unsubscribe and leave the club, please use the link contained in any newsletter correspondence.
