The Elizabeth Martinez Scholarship

The Elizabeth Martinez Scholarship is open to current graduate students in Library and Information Science (MLIS) living in Los Angeles County. We will award two Elizabeth Martinez Scholarships in the amount of $1,000. The chapter will also sponsor each winner’s REFORMA student membership for the year.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY:

Currently attend or have been accepted to an ALA-accredited institution

Be bilingual (Spanish/English) and/or identify as Latino/a/x as well as be committed to working with the Latino community

One year commitment to Reforma LA Chapter (attending meetings & events, sharing chapter information, joining a committee etc.)

Complete the Scholarship Application form by Friday, April 2, 2021, 11:59pm(PST).
