Hi, I\u2019m Lea, and I\u2019m the President<\/strong> of the UX Student Group. In the past year I served as the group\u2019s Co-Chair\/Treasurer and interim Secretary. I am in my sixth and penultimate semester of the MLIS program, with elective classes focused in Data Science and Information Architecture. In the past two semesters I was also in the Library Technology Integration (LTI) Lab, which provided me with experience in user research, usability testing, and an enriching experience with my team. In my spare time I like to read, hang out with my 4 cats, and volunteer at my local cat rescue or local Friends of the Library organization. Although my UX experience is limited to my time in the program, I hope to deliver relevant and meaningful experiences to the executive committee and members in the coming semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello, I\u2019m Chris, the Vice President<\/strong> and Co-chair of the UX Student Group. I\u2019m in my junior year of college and currently have 1.5 years left in my ISDA program here at SJSU. I plan to use my studies and work experience at NVIDIA to further my career in data and hopefully grow into a Data Engineer role one day. I enjoy the outdoor life, movies, and golf. I hope to apply my data analytics skills to our club to help benefit it and look forward to working with you all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent four years as a project manager for a healthcare software company, and am so excited to have more time for the things I love\u2013a good book, my cute nieces and nephews, and listening to kpop. Currently, I work in Riverside County as a Library Associate at a small-town library while pursuing my MLIS. I do website design on the side, but I used to be a UX researcher in the music tech industry! Someday, I hope I can work for a school library.
