\u00a0Put on your design caps and enter your logo for an opportunity to win a $50 Amazon gift certificate. \u00a0For information about our group visit the <a title=\"SLA Student Group website\" href=\"http:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/\" target=\"_blank\">SJSU iSchool SLA Student Group website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Logo Design: <\/b>We are looking for a design that will represent our academic and professional community in engaging with current, past, and prospective members. \u00a0The logo will be used on our website, social media, and correspondences.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/sla.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-756\" src=\"http:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/sla.png\" alt=\"sla\" width=\"230\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/ischool.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-757\" src=\"http:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/ischool.png\" alt=\"ischool\" width=\"159\" height=\"159\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Submission Guidelines: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a logo using our acronym <b>SJSU SLA<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>The logo should incorporate the <a title=\"SJSU Colors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sjsu.edu\/communications\/identity\/powersource\/web\/colors\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">SJSU color scheme<\/a> while keeping with the world imagery of the SLA logo.<\/li>\n<li>Consider our logo usage: \u00a0the logo appears at the top of emails you receive from the group, at the upper corner of our website, at the signature of an email message, and in print form. \u00a0It should be readable both in color and black and white.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions are due <b>February 2nd at 11:59pm<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>To submit your design, send a jpg file by email to Grace Kim at <a href=\"mailto:eunboo@comcast.net\">eunboo@comcast.net<\/a>. \u00a0You may also embed the logo to your email message as a jpg, but it is not required. \u00a0Upon selection, the winning designer will be required to submit a high quality pdf or equivalent format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Selection Process: <\/b>A volunteer panel and group executives will review all entries and choose the finalist and any alternates. \u00a0Winners will be notified by email at the end of February.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Announcing the SLA Student Group Logo Contest SJSU iSchool Special Libraries Association Student Group is looking for a new organization logo by holding a Logo Contest. \u00a0Can you envision a chapter logo that will represent SJSU iSchool chapter of the SLA?
