This includes planning 2-3 programs per semester, contacting guest speakers, ensuring events are promoted to membership and the iSchool, and serving as host for programs on Zoom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Programming Director\u2019s responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinating and leading Programming Team meetings, including event debriefs&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guiding best practices for each semester\u2019s programming calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overseeing the \u201cbig picture\u201d of each semester\u2019s programming and program deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading development and presentation of SLASC programs:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leading search for prospective program presenters&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serving as point of contact for presenters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delegating programming responsibilities among Programming Team members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requesting outreach and promotion for events from other SLASC EC teams&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating program tools such as event Zoom meetings, post-program surveys, event agendas&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being actively involved in executing programs, including hosting, moderating the chat, assisting with tech, recording the meeting, and offering hospitality and welcome to presenters and attendees&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following up with presenters and SLASC EC teams after programs to disseminate post-program materials&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending monthly Executive Committee meetings and presenting the Programming Team report to the EC at the meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/slasc\/about\/vacant-positions\/\">Return to Vacant Positions<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Programming Team is responsible for organizing and running programs.
