We are so excited to bring some great Archives programming to you this Fall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This summer, several of our members were busy with internships and a few were even able to attend virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.archivists.org\/am2023\">Archives * Records 2023 conference<\/a> this summer. Education sessions included Emotional Intelligence in Archival Interactions, Digital Content Moderation, Fee Elimination, Unionizing, the COVID Tracking archive, and more!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SJSU\u2019s very own former SAASC members, Katrina Williams, Anna Robinson, and Mia Lewis even presented their poster <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/d1keuthy5s86c8.cloudfront.net\/static\/ems\/upload\/files\/1688823952_G05_SAA_Poster_SAASC.pdf\">A Collaborative Approach to Engaging Students in Meaningful Career Exploration<\/a>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check out the latest issue of <a href=\"https:\/\/scholarworks.sjsu.edu\/saasc_archeota\/\">Archeota<\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and keep in mind that ideas for articles in the next issue can be submitted now through November 11, 2023. Check your e-mail for more information and e-mail our managing editor Taliyah Shaver (<\/span><a href=\"mailto:archeota.saasc@gmail.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">archeota.saasc@gmail.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) with any ideas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a new student, the SAASC will be included in the iSchool Meet and Greet on <strong>September 14 at 6pm PST<\/strong>. Come and meet some of our board members and learn more about joining SAAC and other student organization chapters!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year you can look forward to fun virtual events with SAAC like a Scavenger Hunt and Ask An Archivist Talks.
