One of our main goals as the 22-23 SAASC Board is to foster a sense of community among the aspiring archivists at SJSU. We aim to create a place where we can chat about our goals, share our insights and talk through our frustrations. This isn\u2019t easy to do in an online environment, however, we started building that community at the meeting last Wednesday. For those unable to attend, check out the highlights below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We need your feedback! This is a great chance to meet other group members, have some fun between classes, and learn more about the world of archives. From October 10th through November 10th, you\u2019ll be able to work with your teammates on a series of weekly challenges. Submit questions in advance of the event using this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeemxZZc4jTO6T2t-2JqrRKYGWhhchjrRItsW-MNm_UVdakQQ\/viewform\">form<\/a> and register to attend <a href=\"https:\/\/sjsu.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZclc-mvqzwjHtPb89VJIREup2Unbjm9TIeP\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Inside the Archive<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Join us on Wednesday, November 9 from 7-8 PM as Angel Diaz, curator of California Ethnic and Multicultural Archive at UC Santa Barbara, talks about this unique archive.
