{"id":378,"date":"2020-10-16T11:21:37","date_gmt":"2020-10-16T18:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/reforma\/?page_id=378"},"modified":"2020-10-16T11:42:00","modified_gmt":"2020-10-16T18:42:00","slug":"blog-call-for-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/reforma\/?page_id=378","title":{"rendered":"Call for Submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Reformistas, iSchool Students and Faculty, and Library and Information Science Professions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are invited to contribute to REFORMA San Jos\u00e9 State University iSchool\u2019s Student and Alumni Group\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/reforma\/?page_id=27\">new blog<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for blog post proposals from members of the REFORMA SJSU iSchool Student &amp; Alumni Group, LIS professionals, and organizations related to the field of Library and Information Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#32373c\">Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-layout-flex wp-container-core-list-is-layout-fe9cc265 wp-block-list-is-layout-flex\" style=\"\">\n<li>Trends and issues related to serving Latinos and the Spanish-speaking communities within the LIS context.<\/li>\n<li>Book or article reviews of materials by or about Latinos and the Spanish-speaking communities including popular fiction, nonfiction, and LIS literature.<\/li>\n<li>Learning experiences from conferences, webinars, and trainings.<\/li>\n<li>Interviews or Q&amp;As with LIS professionals and SJSU iSchool alumni.<\/li>\n<li>Personal experiences working in different information environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Be creative! We look forward to hearing your ideas.
