World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which will see tens of thousands of people share books with others in their communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading on April 23.<\/p>\n

As part of ALASC’s community service initiative on April 23, ALASC officers across the country<\/span><\/a> will be handing out FREE Books.<\/h4>\n

April 23 is also UNESCO\u2019s World Book Day and was chosen for the anniversary of Cervantes\u2019 death, as well as Shakespeare\u2019s birth and death.
