Web-based Information Science Education (WISE)<\/strong> is,<\/p>\n

“A collaborative distance education model that will increase the quality, access, and diversity of online education opportunities in Library and Information Science.” (wiseeducation.org)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

WISE<\/strong> offers multiple alternative classes from a variety of participating Univsersitys.\u00a0 Some of the classes offered through WISE<\/strong> are not avaliable through SJSU SLIS such as these previously taught course: Museum Archives, Fantasy and Speculative Fiction and Behavioral Perspectives.<\/p>\n
