{"id":6015,"date":"2012-01-23T21:45:50","date_gmt":"2012-01-24T05:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slisgroups.sjsu.edu\/alasc\/wp-descriptor\/?p=587"},"modified":"2012-01-23T21:45:50","modified_gmt":"2012-01-24T05:45:50","slug":"fall-2011-events-banned-books-week-and-teen-read-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ischoolgroups.sjsu.edu\/alasc\/wp-students\/fall-2011-events-banned-books-week-and-teen-read-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2011 Events: Banned Books Week and Teen Read Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Fall 2011, ALASC partnered with <a title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SLISConnect\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SLISConnect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SLISConnect<\/a> to host the <a title=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/advocacy\/banned\/bannedbooksweek\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/advocacy\/banned\/bannedbooksweek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Banned Books Week<\/a> virtual read-out. The event was entitled <em>Read Banned Books: Celebrate Your Intellectual Freedom<\/em>.
