Hello fellow SLIS\u2019ers!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span>I hope everyone is having a great semester!<\/span><\/p>\n

The ALASC has had an exciting last two months!  On February 22nd, we hosted \u201cMaking the Most of Your ALA Membership\u201d in Elluminate.  If you missed it, the recording is available at <\/span>https:\/\/nexus.sjsu.edu\/play_recording.html?recordingId=1267553021365_1298422898945<\/span><\/a><\/span> and the password is \u201csuccess\u201d.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

We have also added a lot of really great items to our Cafe Press ALASC store at <\/span>http:\/\/www.cafepress.com\/alasc<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Would you like to contribute to the success of our school and to the library profession?  If so, please consider running for an ALASC officer position.  Elections will be held in Angel in April and results will be announced via slisadmin. <\/span>The positions available are:  Chair, Co-Chair\/Webmaster, Program Coordinator, Newsletter Editor, Secretary\/Archivist, and Treasurer.  Descriptions of each position are available on the ALASC website at <\/span>http:\/\/slisgroups.sjsu.edu\/alasc\/about.shtml<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
