On Tuesday, February 28, ALASC\u2019s Events Team kicked off its first trivia night of the year, \u201cIn the Public Library.\u201d In five rounds of five questions, teams were tested on their knowledge of quotes, characters, and other tidbits in the categories\u2013Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Young Adult, Anime\/Manga\/Comics, Picture Books, and a Shakespeare bonus round.<\/span><\/p>\n

Collectively, teams killed the Anime\/Manga\/Comics and Fantasy rounds! Shoutout to all the Tolkienites and Potterheads. However, the Young Adult round trumped us all. Who knew <\/span>Crave <\/span><\/i>by Tracy Wolff is Amazon\u2019s best-selling young adult book? We didn\u2019t! <\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the five rounds, Team Five came in first place with twenty points and claimed the $5 Starbucks gift cards. Team Two came in a very close second with nineteen points, and Teams One and Four tied for third place with seventeen points.<\/span><\/p>\n

We want to thank the Events team and all who attended a night of fun competition and connection!<\/span><\/p>\n
