Dr. Sue Alman is an experienced and well learned information scientist with an eye towards the future. Her areas of specialization include management, strategic planning, futures, and blockchain technology. She has been teaching at SJSU full-time since 2012. Before SJSU, Dr. Alman taught at the University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh. You can take her course INFO 282: The Emerging Future: Technology Issues and Trends. \n\nINFO 204 is a\u00a0fast-paced overview<\/i>\u00a0of the work that information professionals do and the types of organizations where they work.\u00a0 Many topics are covered in each module so that students can gain a perspective on the breadth of opportunities in the profession and decide which areas they want to explore in depth in elective courses.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n2.
