We will learn about best practices for library programm<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ing, types of programs, and how Gwinnett County Public Library transitioned from in-person programming to virtual over the course of the pandemic.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Williams will discuss ways librarians can serve the needs of their diverse communities with vibrant online programming. Students will learn about resources, tools, and techniques that can be used for expanding library services to reach a wider audience. She has worked in libraries for just over seven years. Kelly received her Master\u2019s in Library and Information Science at Valdosta State University in 2020, and a Bachelor\u2019s in Business Management from Georgia Gwinnett College in 2019. She is particularly passionate about library programming, technology, makerspaces, and helping herself and others reach their advancement goals. She has developed programs that develop children\u2019s aptitudes for STEAM skills, as well as various programs that make it easier for adults and teens to be technologically savvy. Kelly has served on the Georgia Library Association (GLA) New Member Round Table as the Secretary for the past two years, and she serves as a copy editor on the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Georgia Libraries Quarterly<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> editorial board. She is the founding chair of the Programming Interest Group of GLA, and has recently been elected GLA Secretary for 2022. She lives in Gwinnett County with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
