Join SJSU ALASC as we promote Banned Books Week. This annual event is a celebration of the freedom to read, and a challenge to censorship.<\/p>\n

\"\"To celebrate this week, join us for a trivia extravaganza in our ALA Student Chapter’s Banned Books Quiz Show<\/strong>! Taking place on Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m.<\/strong>, we’ll be giving out Starbucks gift cards to top winners in this trivia contest that will test your book knowledge. All iSchool students are welcome to participate in this virtual event, so save your spot by registering in advance with Zoom with your sjsu.edu<\/em> email account at https:\/\/sjsu.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJEpcOyvrjwrHtxOn7qsywi88F9dI7pFd6di\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Share Your Shelfie: All week long<\/strong>, you can represent iSchool during Banned Books Week by sharing a photo of your bookshelf containing at least one book that has been challenged, censored, or banned.
